The final DETERMINE Conference has been supported by the Spanish EU Council Presidency, and will take place on 25 March, 2010 at the EU Spanish Representation in Brussels. It has been preceded by a Reception at the same location on the evening of 24 March.

The purpose of the final Conference has been to showcase the importance of working across policies, by providing concrete examples of how this is being done.  The event provided an opportunity for DETERMINE partners to meet with members of the EU High Level Expert Group on Health Inequalities, Representatives of the EU Institutions and of other policy sectors, to discuss the final DETERMINE recommendations that will feed into the EU Spanish Presidency Ministerial Conference on Health Inequalities, which will take place in April 2010.

The DETERMINE final Conference was held during the week of “Health Promotion and Equity” that has been organized by EuroHealthNet on 22-26 March, 2010, and included it’s General Assembly as well as a  policy seminar on ‘Equity, Sustainability and Well Being’.
